Jana Heath has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and is an NASM, ACE and AFAA certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor as well as a NASE certified speed and explosive movement coach. Jana began dancing at age 3 and has always had a passion for movement and being fit. She received her BA in Theater Arts and began performing in NYC. While teaching dance and Drama, her passion for helping others reach their fitness and health goals emerged and she became a certified Fitness Instructor. After many requests for individual training she became a certified Personal Trainer and began working with individuals of all ages, limitations and fitness goals. Jana now resides in CT where she trains many clients in the comfort of their home or office and teaches fitness classes at many studios and businesses. She focuses on Functional Fitness and believes that anyone can exercise anywhere with little or no equipment at all. She designs creative workouts to prevent boredom and plateaus. Her certifications include Mad Dogg Spin, Zumba, ACSM Weight Management, AFAA Pilates, Youth Fitness, Skeletal Fitness, Aqua Aerobics, Pre/postnatal Fitness and more.
