A New Year typically means a new goal. A new start. A “THIS time I’m going to do it” promise. Maybe you’ve tried without success in the past but THIS year WILL be different. THIS year you will have a plan from me!
It is too overwhelming to try to do everything at once. I know you want to try to eat better and exercise more but let’s take one step at a time.
Exercise: The hardest part is getting motivated to actually DO it. So here is a calendar to get you moving a little each day.
These can be done in a minute or two. They may seem small but they will have great benefits. Hang the calendar on your fridge, bathroom door, bedroom mirror, at the office, etc. Have family, friends, coworkers join you. You can add this to your day, throughout your day as many times a day as you like. You can repeat them for a longer workout.
If you are just getting started, begin with these small things each day to get you going.
I’ve also filmed tutorial videos in case you aren’t sure of the exercises. I filmed them in four parts, one for each week so you’ve got a longer workout if you want to follow along. Or you can just check out how to perform the exercises.

Nutrition: Start by adding in rather than taking away. Place your focus on what you can or need to have more of. I assume for most it is vegetables. If you are not a fan, you just need to find a way to make them palatable. With a little olive oil, salt and pepper, almost any roasted vegetable can actually be delicious. Give it a try. Here are some great tips for cooking vegetables HERE and HERE.
Do NOT get overwhelmed by trying to do too much too fast. Going at a manageable pace, adding on each week will give you results you can maintain for LIFE.
