Busy? Of course. So who has the time to workout? You do. You don’t need to think or count. Just download and go. It is my goal over the next few months (if not indefinitely) to provide you with quick ways to add exercise into your life. Today’s tip is an app.
I am sure you’ve heard of the 7 Minute Workout. It is a high intensity workout combining aerobic and resistance exercises without using equipment. You work for the entire 7 minutes. I am a firm believer that some exercise is better that none. And that it is what you do with the time you have that matter.
*Please keep in mind that if you only move for these 7 minutes per day without properly nourishing your body and little other movement throughout your day, you will not see significant changes in your health. BUT it is a very good place to start!*
The app provides you with 12 workouts or you can design your own from their exercise library. You can do one 7 minute cycle or more depending on how much time you have. Once you start you just follow the exercise demonstrations and the app counts the interval time down for you.
- You can do this anywhere since no equipment is needed. Great for hotel rooms, beaches, etc.
- Workouts provided with the ability to easily create your own.
- Demonstrations as you go, intervals are timed for you.
