Do you wear lipstick? I thought I’d share this with those of you who do. I often share the information and research I come across with you but I want you to understand that it isn’t just what you put into your body that effects your health. There is tons of research out there that what you put ON your body greatly effects your health as well. It is my goal to create awareness by bringing you credible yet easy to understand and digest information that will give you the knowledge and power to make healthy choices.
Today’s topic is lipstick. I avoid wearing it because of all I’ve learned about it. If you wear lipstick, I encourage you to watch the 3 minute video below from Mia Davis. She began her career by organizing the grassroots movement to eliminate BPA (Bisphenol A) from plastic water bottles, baby bottes and sippy cups. BPA is an endocrine hormone disrupter that can lead to birth defects and reproductive and developmental disorders. She co-coordinated two national campaigns dedicated to getting toxic chemicals out of everyday consumer items like toys, water bottles and food packaging and cosmetics. She is currently the head of health and safety for Beauty Counter.
Please understand that I am not trying to sell you anything. I just want you to be informed. You kill it at the gym or working out with me and try to eat healthy but then use products on your body that you might even believe are safe. I HAVE to share this information and I hope you will too.
If you do want more information on lipstick and other cosmetics available at Beauty Counter, please ask or check them out here https://notoxinsnoexcuses.beautycounter.com/Home. But truly, I just want you to be informed.
