Cut it out.. a tale of a diet sabotager

I was once addicted to diet Dr. Pepper.  I had to have it every morning ( I don’t like coffee).

Despite the burning sensation I felt every time I swallowed it – I had to have it. I needed it to function.

One day I said no more and cut it out cold turkey. It wasn’t as hard as I thought ut wwould be. I didn’t experience much of a withdrawl and I actually remember feeling less bloated. I have not had a craving for it since and am much happier drinking some green tea.

Diet soda contains the artificial sweetner Aspartame.

Aspartame contains the wood alcohol, methanol. High amounts of this and aspartame’s other ingredients have been shown to increase hunger.

To help your waistline, avoid any artificial sweetner as they can cause GI stress and bloating. Stick to Stevia if you need some sweet in your drink as it is an herb and a much cleaner choice.

I say, just cut it out.
