Sneak in the veggies

Trying to get your little ones to eat more veggies? Or are YOU having trouble reaching your quota? I add spinach and kale to my smoothies and I don’t even notice the green goodness.

You could blend 1/2  of a banana, some berries, yogurt, spinach leaves, milk and ice.

The milk and fruit will disguise the spinach. Your kids won’t even taste it! 

 

Another one:

Straw-Berry Blast Smoothie
½ cup whole strawberries
½ cup blueberries
½ cup raspberries
1 whole banana
2 cups fresh baby spinach (or other leafy green)
1 whole carrot
1/2 – 1 cup water

Use your imagination. Just get those veggies in!
