No time for exercise? Take this challenge.
Here is what I did yesterday am when I was feeling a like I needed a kick butt workout but had very little time to get one in:
The Burpee challenge
10 Seconds of Burpees – 10 seconds of Rest x 10
20 Seconds of Burpees -10 seconds of Rest x 8
30 Seconds of Burpees – 10 seconds of Rest x 6
40 Seconds of Burpees – 10 seconds of Rest x 4
50 Seconds of Burpees – 10 seconds of Rest x 2
The only breaks I took were to change the time on my timer after each round and grab a quick sip of water. I was sweaty and breathing hard. This was definitely a workout. My 7 month old son was playing on the floor with toys while I did this and it was fun to make him laugh while i was jumping around.
No euipment needed and only about 30 minutes to complete!
If you are not able to burpees, you can easily do this with any exercise such as jumping rope, squat jumps. mountain climbers, etc.
