Broccoli. It may not be as exciting as Acai or pommagranate but let me tell you – not only can you pronounce it; it is easy to find at any grocery store and typically affordable.
Broccoli has more vitamin C than an orange and about as much calcium as a glass of whole milk. So it boosts the immune system and helps build stronger bones.
It also has excellent antioxidant properties.
Simply go to your frozen food section and find a steam ready bag. You can add a few spices or a light sprinkle of cheese for extra flavor. Add broccoli to your salads or pasta dish.
This isn’t rocket science but I thought broccoli deserved a shout out today.
It may give you the toots but those are just the sounds and smells of health!
